Over the next decade, the biggest shift in enterprise software won’t be another ERP module or CRM upgrade - it will be intelligent agents acting on behalf of people, inside the systems they already use. The Opportunity
We’re establishing a dedicated Agent Factory - a product engineering practice focused solely on designing, building, and commercialising production‑ready AI agents embedded in real enterprise workflows.
This is a strategic, multi‑million‑dollar investment, and we’re hiring a Principal AI Engineer to lead it. This is not a research role or an experimentation lab. This is about shipping serious software that enterprise organisations depend on.
What You’ll Do
As Principal Engineer, you are the technical authority for the Agent Factory.
You’ll lead:
- Architecture & Engineering Standards Designing enterprise-scale AI agents - orchestration, retrieval strategies, memory/state design, observability, integration reliability, and deployment standards.
- Enterprise Systems Integration Building agents that operate inside complex ERP and CRM environments, with a strong focus on data integrity, security, and compliance. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, Business Central or CE) is highly relevant.
- Discovery & Translation Working hands-on with Product Owners and business SMEs to define exactly what an agent can (and cannot) do - translating business intent into precise engineering requirements.
- Commercial & Client Engagement Acting as technical authority in client-facing engagements - scoping, feasibility, architecture reviews, and production deployments.
- Practice & Team Leadership shaping the technical culture, recruiting to a high standard, and growing a small, elite engineering team into a scalable practice.
About You
You’ve built a career inside organisations that ship serious, enterprise-grade software.
You likely bring:
- A background in global SaaS, platform providers, or product-led technology organisations
- Proven experience shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems into production
- Strong engineering judgement across:
- Multi-agent orchestration
- Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG)
- Memory and state architecture
- Grounding and reliability strategies
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems (ERP / CRM) and what reliable integration really requires at scale
The ability to communicate clearly with:
- Engineers
- Commercial teams
- Enterprise clients
You reason from engineering principles, not framework defaults - and you know the difference between a prototype and a product.
